On Nov 05, 2015 SONY Inc. released an intelligent precision photography-α68 A-mount camera with 4D FOCUS.
The α68 features Sony’s unique 4D FOCUS system. It can deliver remarkable AF performance under any shooting conditions – even in lighting as low as EV-2 where other cameras cannot do. This phase detection system uses no less than 79 autofocus detection points including 15 cross points, plus a dedicated F2.8 AF sensor point for dimly-lit scenes.
No matter if you are shooting photos or movies, extraordinary and peerless quality is guaranteed by the 24MPiii APS-C Exmor CMOS image sensor and with wide ISO 100-25600iv sensitivity range. It is grouped with Sony’s fast BIONZ X image processor that uses Detail Reproduction and Diffraction-reducing Technologies. And moreover, Area-specific Noise Reduction for original and finely detailed shots every time. With its uncompromising function and precise performance, it is a good choice for demanding dilettante photographer.
The α68 will launch in March 2016 and its price will be approximately $636 for the body only or $742 with DT18-55mm F3.5-5.6 SAM II lens.
